The Thermo Scientific™ HistoStar™ Embedding Station with Cryoplate is a high-performance tissue embedding system designed to improve workflow efficiency, operator comfort, and embedding precision in busy histology laboratories. Engineered with an ergonomic, modular design, the HistoStar combines advanced temperature control, efficient paraffin management, and intuitive touchscreen operation to support consistent, high-quality tissue embedding results.

The system features a large 5-liter paraffin reservoir, high-capacity cassette and mold storage, and a spacious heated work area designed to accommodate demanding laboratory workloads. Its modular cold plate can be positioned for optimal workflow configuration and is capable of holding up to 72 blocks while providing adjustable cooling temperatures to improve block quality and reduce cracking.

Designed with user convenience in mind, the HistoStar incorporates adjustable LED workspace illumination, ergonomic arm rests, customizable paraffin dispensing controls, and integrated ParaTrimmer™ technology that allows excess paraffin to be removed directly at the embedding station for increased efficiency and cleaner operation.
